With the right speech analytics technology with an automatic PCI redaction feature, you can ensure your organization remains compliant and your customer data is safe. We’re here to help. We believe data security for customer interactions will be a growing concern for enterprise businesses. ![]() We deliver 100% uptime, so you can rest easy knowing your data is safe and available where you need it most. VoiceBase’s highly distributed, fully redundant, and self-healing platform is secure and reliable. Not only should you have a secure, reliable call recording solution but you should also consider a powerful speech analytics solution. Your technology stack will be key to adapting to a crisis, or even evolving industry needs. Understanding what is in your calls–hour by hour–allows you to know what action to take and how to adapt. Overall performance metrics are always important, but now more than ever are they pivotal for businesses. ![]() How will managers ensure that agents are adhering to the script of reading the required disclosures? A cloud-based speech analytics solution can empower your managers to maintain visibility into the metrics that matter. Managers will also need to check-in more often and have those performance metrics at their fingertips since they can’t walk the floor. Agents will not have in-person guidance from supervisors to resolve performance issues, so it’s key to provide accurate and specific training to help them adjust. With a speech analytics tool, your call center leaders are able to quickly and visually see the metrics you need to be monitoring during this time. Measuring Performance Metrics to Ensure Adherence There’s no additional training necessary, and these insights and recordings are accessible wherever your managers are. By protecting the information of your customers, you are in turn protecting your own reputation as a company. For audio, the API will return scrubbed recordings with flat tones where PCI info is detected, and for text redaction we will replace the sensitive data with the term. Even managers reviewing calls manually for quality and coaching won’t accidentally view sensitive data. PCI Redaction is a feature that identifies the specific start and stop moment of a phrase, and then removes sensitive information from both the audio and visual transcript, preventing any breach of information. It’s through automated detection and redaction that information is identified and secured. Your enterprise can stay compliant and secure with a PCI DSS Level 1 certified speech analytics tool–the highest certification possible. However, they don’t require a physical space to keep compliance. These strict standards hold hefty penalties if not adhered to, so they cannot be ignored. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Compliance (PCI DSS compliance) is a set of measures put forth to hold companies accountable for protecting their payment or credit card information. It’s not just customer credit card numbers that need protection, but all of their Personal Identifiable Information, or PII, such as their addresses, social security numbers, and more sensitive data that could be discussed in a phone call. With an influx of calls, there comes an influx of information, and that data needs to continue to be protected. What is PCI/PII Redaction and Why It’s More Important Than Ever Features such as automatic detection and redaction, conversation metrics, and agent scoring can aid enterprises in managing a newly remote call center workforce while minimizing risk. Utilizing speech analytics can help businesses maintain quality assurance for 100% of their calls while also ensuring their customer data is safe and secure. Implementing a speech analytics tool into your call center architecture can help organizations remain compliant and 100% secure. Highly regulated industries have strict guidelines they must adhere to, and while some regulatory agencies are adapting these requirements, call centers still face additional hurdles. The way call centers handle their data is crucial, and now that many around the globe will have to rapidly switch to a telecommuting model, they are faced with a whole new set of challenges. There’s a global crisis in motion and businesses are adapting to new challenges they’ve never faced before, with little to no precedent. ![]() 6/24/2023 0 Comments Nvidia geforce now rtx![]() ![]() Geralt of Rivia, looking better than ever So, the RTX 4080 upgrade makes a noticeable difference as one would expect. It still looks fantastic and runs at 120 fps – the maximum fps GeForce Now offers at this resolution.įor comparison, Cyberpunk 2077 on the GeForce Now RTX 3080 tier managed just 60 fps at 1440p with all RT on (this was before the path tracing update) and DLSS Quality. While that's good, and you can improve it slightly by changing DLSS to Balanced, my personal preference is to turn off path tracing and opt for ray tracing: Psycho. Lowering these settings allows those with a high-refresh-rate monitor to make good use of GeForce Now Ultimate's new maximum of 240 fps at 1080p.Īs a recent purchaser of a Gigabyte M34WQ ultra-widescreen monitor, I was excited to see how GeForce Now handled 3440 x 1440. For the 64% of Steam survey participants whose primary monitor resolution is 1080p, enabling path tracing with the same settings yields around 120 fps. As a side note, I never noticed any issues like increased latency when frame generation was enabled in this or any other game. GeForce Now's own stats overlay – activated by pressing Ctrl + G – showed the game running at a buttery smooth 100 fps most of the time combined with the path tracing, it made for a super-immersive experience. The benchmark test, which looked stunning, returned 93 fps. Taking advantage of GeForce Now's upgrade, I switched DLSS 3 to Quality and enabled frame generation. Once Cyberpunk 2077 was finally ready, I started the game, jumped to the settings screen, and turned on Overdrive/Path Tracing. It remained offline for a couple of hours, so I wouldn't see what full path tracing looked like that day. Unfortunately, I encountered a problem that highlighted one of the service's drawbacks: the game couldn't be played as the update was being applied. ![]() I decided to resubscribe to GeForce Now and see how the RTX 4080 tier performed on the same day Cyberpunk 2077's Overdrive mode was released. Switching DLSS to performance adds another 10 fps, but not only is it still unplayable, there's also so much smearing coming from the characters that they appear to be made from wet paint. The benchmark test video looks like someone is flicking through a set of still images. As expected, it hits an average of 12 fps with a low of 5 fps in 1440p with DLSS 2 set to Quality. I started by testing Cyberpunk 2077's Overdrive mode with my own PC: an overclocked RTX 2070 Super combined with a Core i7-12700K and 32GB of DDR4. The recent addition of a fully unified path-tracing solution is so demanding that even the mighty RTX 4090 drops to as low as 16 fps in some sections, which is why Ada's DLSS 3 and frame generation (controversial as it can be) is so important. The wider rollout of the 4080 upgrade comes just as one game (or game mode) has turned into the modern Crysis: Cyberpunk 2077 and its RT Overdrive mode. The CPU paired with it is an unnamed 16-core AMD Ryzen chip. It comes with 24GB of GDDR6, 18,176 CUDA cores, and, according to Team Green, 64 TFLOPs of performance. The vast majority of previously tested titles did not perform as well as having an RTX 3080 card in the PC next to you, especially at higher resolutions and with ray tracing enabled.īut Nvidia is upgrading all members of the $20/mo GeForce Now Ultimate tier to its RTX 4080 rig, which uses the L40G Ada Lovelace GPU based on the AD102 silicon found in the RTX 4090. However, the cloud GPU has 600GB/s of bandwidth, which is less than the desktop version's 760GB/s. It has extra CUDA cores (9,216) and 24GB of GDDR6, which is significantly more than the consumer version's 10GB/12GB. However, it might still not be enough to persuade some people.įor the Ultimate "RTX 3080" tier, Nvidia employs an A10G GPU based on the same GA102 silicon as the RTX 3080. Now that it's here (for some), has the transition to Ada Lovelace made GeForce Now more appealing? The short answer is yes, it has, particularly for those who want to play Cyberpunk 2077's recently added Overdrive mode. While most of the results were disappointing and couldn't match local hardware, there was a caveat: at the time, the most expensive option offered RTX 3080-like performance, but Nvidia was in the process of upgrading to an "RTX 4080 Rig." Back in January, we looked at Nvidia's GeForce Now game streaming service's Ultimate tier and how it compared to buying a new graphics card. ![]() 6/24/2023 0 Comments Hopper disassembler tutorial![]() Getting this pseudo-code can literally be accomplished in just a couple clicks with a tool such as Hopper. 6/24/2023 0 Comments Cultural repertoire![]() He integrates linguistics and intercultural communication together to form a model of “Intercultural Communicative Competence,” the core element of which is CCA, also known as political education. Literature Review and Theoretical Framework Connotations of Critical Cross-Cultural LiteracyĪt the end of the 20th century, with the intensification of globalization, the opportunities and difficulties faced by countries all over the world in cross-cultural communication brought a new element to cross-cultural research-critical literacy, which usually involves “critical cultural awareness” (CCA), “critical thinking,” and “evaluative skills.” Byram focused on the significance of language in cross-cultural communication. Accordingly, the final goal of the paper is to construct students’ repertoire of CCCL, that is, to realize CCCL in language based on their various identities. Empirical research shows that students in English majors are short of CCCL. The educational objectives related to national consciousness identification in cross-cultural communication were defined as Critical Cross-cultural Literacy (CCCL). ![]() Therefore, it is necessary for the students in English majors to recognize these explicit and implicit meanings contained in the language in cross-cultural communication. On the other hand, as language is a tool of persuasion and communication, national consciousness is implicit in it. On the one hand, language makes meaning in the context of culture, so it has explicit national consciousness. Since the 1990s, linguists began to realize the importance of language for cross-cultural education ( Byram, 1997 Kramsch and Zhu, 2016). These changes require us to update our teaching methodology.Īll words are meaningful. Therefore, on the basis of consolidating language skills, its teaching goal is to focus on logical thinking, critical thinking, cross-cultural literacy, etc. English major, a key discipline in cross-cultural education, should not only concentrate on the national consciousness of the home country but also critically explore the national consciousness of the target country implied in cross-cultural communication, thereby promoting the national cultural development strategy from the perspective of professional talent cultivation. However, when they grow up and study at the university, they cannot ignore the significance of thinking. The teaching goal is to master vocabulary and grammar and it rarely involves the cultivation of critical thinking. Most of the textbooks used by contemporary Chinese undergraduates in compulsory education and senior high school are English originals or English stories. Whether the world cultural pattern in the future is prone to western cultural hegemony, multicultural coexistence, or the rise of Asian culture has not been determined in academic circles ( Tomlinson, 1999 Liu, 2018 Manathunga, 2018 Wei, 2018) and whether China can seize the development opportunities in the challenge of cultural globalization have become the focus of China’s cultural development and the key to cultivate talents in higher education. The future development trend of cultural globalization is still unclear. Thus, to help students construct and improve their individual CCCL repertoire, teachers need to guide them to critically study and analyze the discourse purpose of the textbook author as well as their language methods and strategies to enrich their meaning potential. On the basis of the research paradigm of systemic functional linguistics (SFL), a language is a semiotic system that creates meaning. Therefore, all these are collectively referred to as critical cross-cultural literacy (CCCL). Since the end of the 20th century, administrators and scholars have paid attention to critical thinking, critical cultural awareness, and critical skills in cross-cultural communication, which are important components of the cross-cultural meaning system. ![]() English major in colleges and universities, a discipline of cross-cultural education, should look at the cultural communication of the target country dialectically based on the national consciousness of the home country. ![]() The ambiguous development trend of cultural globalization brings both opportunities and challenges to China’s cultural development. In calling the Hubble's spectacular new image of the Eagle Nebula the Pillars of Creation, NASA scientists were tapping a rich symbolic tradition with centuries of meaning, bringing it into the modern age.
